Reactor – There Are Ways to See What’s Coming

After a successful crowd-funding campaign, yogi, Buddhist teacher, and activist Michael Stone and I launched “Reactor” – a film project exploring the awakening of change in post-meltdown Japan.

Over a week into the journey, here are a few things I’ve learned about Japan:

  • it’s the only country where they apologize to you for not knowing English
  • they really enjoy bowing
  • they also enjoy wearing slippers indoors
  • they are so polite they make Canadians seem like overbearing louts
  • they like raw things
  • chopsticks are far superior to forks
