FIVE MONTHS in the making, here is my new short film featuring Charles Eisenstein.
In late October 2011, I flew out to stay with Charles and shoot an extended interview. It was my way of “gifting” back to Charles for his invaluable contribution to the global discourse on transformation, via his book Sacred Economics (which you can read online).
The features visuals from Velcrow Ripper, with whom I’m co-producing his feature doc Occupy Love, along with the gorgeous music of Chris Zabriskie and the animations of Brian Duffy and Adam Gregoriano. Additional thanks to Line 21 Media in Vancouver for the transcription of Charles in-depth interview (I couldn’t have edited coherently without it).
After our premiere on March 1, 2012, the crew at The Extraenviromentalist hosted a live Q&A with Charles and myself. Listen to the recording here:

Initial feedback on the film has been very encouraging. I would love for everyone to spread this far and wide. What we are lacking is not the technology or tools to re-imagine our society – but the courage to imagine, and then create it.
